Author book marketing


Tim Grahl, of Booklaunch, has some smart advice on when and how to market that next book and it’s all quite simple.

Tim’s advice in a nutshell: Don’t wait until a few weeks before your book launch to start thinking about and building an author platform. Don’t make your author site ‘book-centric’ but instead build a platform that is author-centric – one that would be based on long-term relationships with readers, not on a one-shot book launch. Begin right away with the all-important email list, invite people to join it, and offer them value – not your book primarily – but things you are learning along the author journey.
